Individual emitting nanoparticles, quantum dots and chromophores.
Sub-diffraction microscopy and spectroscopy: STED, PALM, STORM. Plasmon resonances: SPP and LSPR, plasmon spectroscopy. Scanning microscopy and spectroscopy: optical near-field, tip-enhanced spectroscopies, variants of scanning probe spectroscopies.
